At any moment in life there are a numbers things that can happen. A day can start off good and make a turn for the worse. What we plan in our minds sometimes doesn’t come out as we envisioned. The unknown keeps us afraid, but yet somehow keeps us curious enough to push us forward.

While in these moments of question; although unwilling, we magically learn how to endure the pain and deal with the unexpected. To try and move to the next day, gathering strength to makes strides towards that next step. Things you missed are now gone for good, time passes and you only can wonder if things will get better.

New Years is an interesting time, we all know what to expect, but then we don’t. Either you plan for it or you pull the last minute card and scramble. For me, there always a plan; to share good times with friends and make memories that just don’t make no sense. It’s funny; I remember growing up and always hearing my folks and other adults around me always talking about how time flies so fast. How next thing you know, it’s like bam, the days and years are just memories. Then one day you realize, man them grown folks were right, time does go by fast.
